North indeed… Burning up the country a day late to hit Auckland on the way to the Pumice Mecca and Phase 3 of Dirty Mega March: Rotorua.
The original plan was to hit 440 MTB park for some shredding, but the only thing shredded here is me, and given this is the biggest week of the trip, having a weekend off suddenly became mandatory. Adding to my enforced laziness, here’s a PRO edit of the ENDURO of Doom on Friday, awesome course, but not so much when it turns to shit while you’re riding it.
As you’ll note, the PRO’s rip it to shreds. I make an awesome appearance around the 5 second mark, doing what I do best; looking out at the scenery pre-race. Awesome (best watched in HD):
So, tomorrow normal service resumes and its into my favourite forest in the whole world, so stay tuned! Day 1 of Phase 3 is upon us.
